Invitation of Time




If I say Celebration...Joy...Fun...Happiness, these words lift your mind to certain imagination but in reality it’s not in your experience, it’s a conception of how you wished to experience it. If you really getting a chance to experience your imagination... could anything resist you??? Here time has called for a celebration!!!!

There were heavy winds and rain for past 2-3 days , a very destructive storm’ Thane’ was about to stuck the Northern coastal regions of T.N on the day before New year. Chennai City was completely messed up with power cuts, uprooted trees and broken lamp post in the roads and water stagnation at various low lying areas. But dudes here are decided to experience ‘Thane’ and got out to wet and cold roads to find out a party house in the stormy day.

I am with my friends at Elliot beach for new yr celebration. Crowd gets increased as the time approaches mid-night. Country made vuvuzela, light balls are very attractive new arrivals this year, Which made people go freaky on the beach side…



People from various parts of the city gathered around are playing, dancing and going crazy in the cold drizzling night. Thousands of faces around me are glowing with bright smiles. Today no one has come here cause of boring lectures at classroom or irritating family problems or to play cricket for time pass or for romancing with partner in private or to make a business deal or for jogging in the sea breeze….

This is a special occasion. This is an invitation of time. They decided to be joyful and have a celebration. Now nothing can stop them  from being joyful. Being one among the very excited crowd you cannot control your emotions … you will naturally dance to the beats of local drummers.
                                                                                             

Everything around  looks crazy……insane..... but the ultimate quest of human beings is happiness. Here I could see, independent of age, social status, knowledge & wealth everybody are equally happy. This celebration is not their duty.. It’s just a choice. Time has kicked up their heels for celebration.. It’s a nature’s call.This colorful night is bringing them a great pleasure beyond all problems and pressures of life. Dancing in the new year rain… one’s mind goes out of all odds of life… but retaining such ecstasy ever in our life needs great intelligence.

Great moments really doesn’t happen anywhere outside, it happens in our minds..  It’s all about how we perceive things happening around us. Simple nature’s call has created a great moment for me…. I feel this wonderful time says “it’s not the end of anything it’s a beginning of lot more”.

Christmas Guest

24 th December 2015 It was 8’0 clock in the evening, Christmas Eve prayer just got over in an Evanglische church located in the outskirts of a small town deep inside of black forest in Germany. Church volunteers were wrapping up the things after the event.   As one of the residents in the church building, I was also invited for the Christmas Eve function; I stayed in a room on the second floor of the same church building which was rented out by church management.  There were totally seven rooms, all were occupied by students from nearby towns and villages who studies in the local college. Black forest is one of the most beautiful regions in the country, not densely populated; sharing borders of Switzerland on one side and France on the other side. I'm a Finisher

                   In the year 490 B.C, there was a war between Greece and Persian kingdoms. Greece dint have enough potential but their solders outshine Persian tactics and won the battle of Marathon. This news had to be carried to capital Athens along with a warning message that Persian army might attack the city through sea; So Army general had chosen pheidippides (a messenger/runner) to send the message to Athens. He had run all the way from Marathon Battle Ground to Athens around 26 miles. After delivering the message of “Joy to You”, Pheidippides died shortly thereafter from exhaustion. He had died not because of just 26 miles run.. He was sent to contact Sparta army 140 miles away from the battle ground to seek help.280 miles of running (66 Hours) on rugged mountainous path followed by a day of battle and again 26 miles of running (3 Hours) to Athens on the same day wasn’t an easy challenge.
