Child Magic


After a long gap, I got something to write. Here it is….

One of my friends is very crazy over cricket and literally he becomes mad during IPL seasons… hardcore fan of Dhoni and CSK. Recently he bought a new branded CSK cap (RS.650).wherever he goes out he wore it. His family had planned to go for a function at trichy and booked tickets in train. Though it was night journey he was wearing that CSK cap….so crazy. One of his cousin’s daughters in the family gang was 5 years old and very naughty and playful. She had a eye over his cap.. First she wanted to wear it once then she wanted to wear and go around the compartments of the coach and then later she wanted to wear it and sleep… nobody could convince her. Suddenly a stranger who was sitting in the nearby seat taken out a colorful balloon and given that to the child... She became happy and started chatting with that guy. He tried to convince the child by doing a magic...  He suddenly removed the cap of the CSK special 7UP bottle (Lemon pattalam) holding by the child and thrown it outside the window. Child stunned!!! He wanted a promise from the child that if he brings back the cap of the bottle she should go to sleep silently and no more games till they reach trichy next day morning. Child agreed. He put his hand outside window for some time and brought it back inside with the same 7UP bottle cap..Actually he dint throw it outside, he kept it in his back pocket. Since it’s very dark outside child couldn’t see the cap flying away..  Big smiles at her face… All of the sudden she has pulled the cap from my friend’s head and thrown it outside. She asked the stranger magician to bring it back… J J

Christmas Guest

24 th December 2015 It was 8’0 clock in the evening, Christmas Eve prayer just got over in an Evanglische church located in the outskirts of a small town deep inside of black forest in Germany. Church volunteers were wrapping up the things after the event.   As one of the residents in the church building, I was also invited for the Christmas Eve function; I stayed in a room on the second floor of the same church building which was rented out by church management.  There were totally seven rooms, all were occupied by students from nearby towns and villages who studies in the local college. Black forest is one of the most beautiful regions in the country, not densely populated; sharing borders of Switzerland on one side and France on the other side. I'm a Finisher

                   In the year 490 B.C, there was a war between Greece and Persian kingdoms. Greece dint have enough potential but their solders outshine Persian tactics and won the battle of Marathon. This news had to be carried to capital Athens along with a warning message that Persian army might attack the city through sea; So Army general had chosen pheidippides (a messenger/runner) to send the message to Athens. He had run all the way from Marathon Battle Ground to Athens around 26 miles. After delivering the message of “Joy to You”, Pheidippides died shortly thereafter from exhaustion. He had died not because of just 26 miles run..
